How does this work?

Each state is shown as a colored square with its alloted number of electoral votes. It's color is assigned according to polling results from October 16, 2020. Red = solid Republican, Pink = lean Republican, light blue = lean Democrat, blue = solid Democrat, yellow = undecided. "Total Red" is the sum of red and pink, "Total Blue" is sum of light and dark blue. 270 electoral votes are needed to win the election. By moving states from undecided to either red or blue you can explore different potential election outcomes. Click on top half of a block to move it up, click on the bottom half to move it down.
